Cascade Gardens is owned by Jubilee Multi-Generational Housing Society. Park Place Seniors Living is contracted to manage Cascade Gardens on behalf of Jubilee Multi-Generational Housing Society.
Jubilee Multi Generational Housing Society was incorporated under the BC Society Act in 2011 and is a registered charity. The society is inspired by timeless values of compassion, care for the vulnerable, respect for diversity, service to others, and the dignity of human life.
Cascade Gardens seeks to improve the quality of life of the elderly by focusing on healthy aging, and establishing its care programs in a values-based, culturally relevant context. A robust volunteer engagement plan supports our program delivery, with many volunteers from the adjacent Burnaby Ismaili Centre.
Cascade Gardens is a 60-bed complex care home. It has a rich history operating in Burnaby, BC and was first opened in 1975. Cascade Gardens provides care and hospitality services to frail and/or cognitively impaired elders or those with mental health challenges under contract with Fraser Health Authority.
This unique community provides a focus on person-centered care using our “Resident’s Day” philosophy which was recognized as a Leading Practice by Accreditation Canada. Interdenominational services for residents include Christian Bible reading, Hymn singing and Ismaili prayer services. Staff speaks: Finnish, Tagalog, Chinese, Hindi, Punjabi and Japanese.
